I pored over one of my Greek coin books for about half an hour. The motifs did not jump out at me from the pages, even when I did my best to remember that we might not be 100% sure of the orientation. Whatever it is, I don't think it's Greek. I have this weird wild unsubstantiated notion it might be Carthaginian, but no good reference materials to carry that further.
