In 1998 St. Helena and Ascension issued its first 20 pence coin, depicting an ebony flower, and new designs for its 5 pence and 10 pence coins, being respectively Jonathan the giant tortoise, a long-time resident of the islands, and two dolphins. All three designs were the work of Elderton. Above you see the 5 pence and 10 pence designs.
