Hi all,                                                                                     Jahangir half dam, Qandahar mint.. Shud Rawan. 1021AH. 9.3 gms.
Obverse- Shud Rawan
Reverse- Falus Qandahar , sanah 1021AH

Qandahar is a rare mint to find atleast in India and is mostly found in Pakistan(where it is still a very scarce coin).. I have seen Saros' post here earlier but cannot retrieve it.. Qandahar was the farthest post to the west of the mughal empire. It was held by Jahangir till 1622AD, when Safavid Abbas II retrieved it for the Persians. Shah Jahan could reconquer it for a brief time.

Yes. Thanks Bernard sir.. These have become very difficult now a days. Only Akbar remains to be collected for this mint..
