The images below were doing the rounds as the supposed designs of the new coin, the top image can also be seen in the article linked to above. Research by French numismatist André Milhorat has shown that these are not the official designs. These visuals were made by young Algerian artist Abderezzak Bouhedda. It remains to be seen if Algeria will be issuing a 500 Dinar coin at all.
