Please identify token modern brass 21mm with unknown script
« on: January 12, 2018, 03:05:25 AM »

Token, brass, 21mm

I can not find the script on this token anywhere.

Can anyone recognize the script and what it reads?

I personally believe that the script is imaginary but would be delighted if someone proves me wrong.

Thank you.

:)

After having checked dozens of scripts, I came to the conclusion that the few characters on the medal that I was able to identify all belong to different scripts. Therefore I think we can conclude that it is indeed a fantasy script.

I agree with eurocoin. There are elements reminiscent of both Devanagri (Hindi) script and Korean but this is neither.

I notice that the eagle is holding an object that could be an outline map. Presumably it has some significance for the issuer of the piece. I suspect this is either a fantasy issue (along the lines of Middle Earth, Hogwarts (though this is neither of those), Game of Thrones, Star Trek etc.) or an issue by an unofficial microstate whose owner happens to have devised a special script and/or language.
