It seems like yesterday, but it's decades back I built up a collection of Indian coins and rupees and half rupees could be had in unc at little cost. She's a beauty, Mitresh. May you enjoy her a long time.

Yes true Peter. Prices are not the same as it was back in 80's n 90's when I picked up few coins at a fraction of what they retail for now.

I guess its a combination of inflation, commodity prices, demand-supply, increase in no. of collectors, advent of auctioneer's, outreach via social media, more prosperity, etc.
