Sultans of Dehli, Muhammad bin Tughluq, Brass Tanka token, Daulatabad

Although the mint is visible under the green gunk the clue here is on the reverse,  it reads as panchah Gani instead of the usual ra'ij so it's a Tanka of fifty gani, Takhtgah Daulatabad mint, date looks lik AH 731, G&G# D402

Thanks a lot.
So quite an interesting issue.
And yes you are right I should try with a little bit of oil to remove some dirt.

Nice coin you have there.
I am not used to playing with chemicals, so I'll first try my method  :)

Would like to get the mint, if possible.

OK, thank you for looking.
Which one would you keep in your collection?

I'd keep them all probably,  the last one is bit low on weight & could be one of the many contemporary counterfeits made to cash in on the Sultans offer to 'buy them back'

The first one is the best preserved, the last one could be a comtemparary forgery - so also a cool one  ;D
So I will probably keep these two.
