I saw the new grading company on another forum.

Any information about this TPG? I can not find a wesite for GENI.
Nice looking holders ... but ... do they have holder storage boxes?

Hi,

I will try with my first post. I know nothing about the quality of their work but can give you a starting point. There is a short presentation of the company in the "Bulletin Numismatique" n°166, page 32 (in French) with names and addresses. http://www.cgb.fr/bn/pdf/bn166.pdf

Thank you very much Stef ... appreciated

Although i can not read French i have more info regarding the tiers and detail of the holders.

The article in the link is a paid ad. See the first page, that includes a mention of GENI as a "contributor" in tiny print. Basically, GENI is a copy of any US TPG. They want to distinguish themselves by smaller capsules.

The company is held by a well-known Parisian metal dealership, Merson. The coins Merson trades in are not circulation coins, but what I would describe as gold and silver bars with a denomination. Most are very recent issues, but they also have standard precious metal trade coins, such as 5 francs and 20 francs pieces of Latin Monetary Union weight and content.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Sorry, I didn't notice that. Will pay more attention in future. I'm not linked with them. I'm not even a French  :).

No harm done, Stef. It is a useful link. It got me the connection to Merson, which was confirmed by looking at the address with Google street view. I have been inside that shop :)
