The 2 Euro coin, from Andorra, 2015, have a dot betwwen the date numbers. Between 20 and 15.
It looks to be a variant?

Figleaf

Is te dot raised or incuse?

Interesting. Is the spacing of the numerals of the date exactly the same as on the "dotless" coins or is there extra space between the second and third number to accommodate the dot?

Have not read about such a variety, so I guess it is due to some kind of die flaw ...

Could we get a high-res image, please?

Which is why I asked the question in reply#3. If the spacing is the same, an error is more likely. If it is different, the dot would have a meaning, e.g another source of the flans or another mint. The question remains unanswered.

And probably will continue to be. ;) Keep in mind that this discussion was five years ago ...

It is, but in this case the member who posted it is still active, so they may well still have the coin. It would be good if they could answer the question and provide the photo.

After a change of home I found the Andorra coins and, a new look at tha coin, what it seemed a dot, desapeared.
Sorry for the problems I caused, there aren't any new variety
