Hi Jonrim, and welcome to WoC !
Difficult to make a guess without a photo.
You might check the size of the photo you tried to upload. If it is larger than 128 kB the software won't accept it. It may well work after you resize your picture.

Hello jonrim, welcome to WoC. Resizing is not about making the picture smaller, but making it lighter, i.e. less pixel depth. Look around on this site and you'll see you can show pretty large pics with 128k.

You don't even need any software to do this. Just Google resize image online for a list of pages that will resize your pics. If you pilot a Mac, you may be better off with Graphic Converter, though.

Whatever acid test, your photos clearly seem to show a bronze coin. the wear, patination and also a few brown corrosion spots do not seem compatible with silver, but do fit with bronze.

Well, with this size and weigth i also get to a Ptolemy VI diobol. But indeed, these are supposed to be bronze.

yes it's strange , i have spent hours trawling the internet and found plenty in bronze but none in silver , i have used 2 different bottles of acid with the same results high grade silver

You are almost there, jonrim. One more thing to discover. When you are writing a message, there is a button (more attachments) centre left in the area labelled "Attach". You can attach up to eight pictures.
