Are there any such banknote series, where the different notes just do not seem to gel?

The second Guernsey series meets this criteria to my way of thinking.

A new series of notes were introduced in 1969 in denominations of 1 and 5 that were reasonably matching but then in 1975 a 10 was added of a totally different design.

And no 20 pound note, I notice.
