I note that DNW, the British Museum and Noble appear to have erroneously named Charles Ashton, but the coin / medal reads Aston.

I advised the British Museum of their error and they responded with:
 
"Thank you for drawing this to our attention.
We will make the necessary changes as soon as possible."

Strange that 3 out of the 4 listed were incorrect.

It would be interesting to know what the Ford collection catalogue has? Possibly it all stems from this.

I see the BM piece was acquired in 2009

I know! I paid a tenner for the above (although think it was well worth it as there's a wealth of information in the catalogue) - how much more of my coin budget is it going to cost me? :(
