Hellooo!

I was in my local Cash Converters, Belfast (UK pawn shop chain) on Saturday afternoon & they have a small cabinet with a few coins & I noticed one small silver George IV coin labelled 'George IV Shilling' but I knew it wasn't as it was too small so I asked for a closer look & once I got it out I discovered it was a 2nd reverse (crowned shield) 1824 Sixpence in very nice F+ condition & the price was only £19 - SCORE!!

Congratulations. Nice catch. A good thing nobody thought of gilding it ;) If it hadn't been for the weakness on the top-right of the harp, I'd have called it VF.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
