Can you find these "new map" coins in circulation?
« on: September 19, 2017, 02:58:54 PM »
Germany 10 cent A, D, F, G, J
Germany 50 cent A, D, F, G, J
Germany 1 euro A, D, F, G, J
Netherlands 10, 50 cent 1, 2 euro 2007-2013 (sails)
Netherlands 1 euro 2016 (sails)
Netherlands 50 cent, 1, 2 euro 2016 (sails*)
Portugal 2 euro

Packaged sets don't count for me.

Hi Peter,

from numista:
Belgium: 20ct, 50ct, 1€, 2€
France: 10ct, 20ct, 2€
Germany: 20ct, 2€
Netherlands: none (with queen Beatrix)
and the German 10 cents from 2017 are also out, at least with D, F and G, so I suppose the A & J will also show up shortly.

I have several Dutch 2 euro commemoratives with the new map and the sails différent. But none of the "definitive" issue.

Germany 50 cent A, D, F, G, J > 2007-2017 from sets only
Germany 1 euro A, D, F, G, J > 2007-2017 from sets only
Netherlands 10, 50 cent 1, 2 euro 2007-2013 (sails) > 100,000 to 200,000 per year
Netherlands 1 euro 2016 (sails) > ?
Netherlands 50 cent, 1, 2 euro 2016 (sails*) > 50 ct 400,000 / €1 300,000 / €2 325,000
Portugal 2 euro > 2008-2017 from sets only

Thank you, andyg. That explains that gap in my collection from circulation quite nicely. The hunt for German tenners 2017 is on now and I reminded my Dutch family and friends about keeping apart the shiny-shiny yellow coins. :)

Good luck! I haven't found a single 2017 10c yet. Despite being actively ''on the hunt.''

Encouraging. If you can get them in Portugal, I should be able to find them in France eventually.

I believe I had one, but spent it again as I collect by type/mint/mintmaster. The next one I find is yours.

Since my post in September, I have found a few 2017 German 10c coins. First mint-mark ''J,'' later ''A.''

Irish circulation coins dated 2017 are probably out. I believe that this is special 'Dublin Coin Fair Set', eventually these will be issued for circulation too.
