Another new section on WoT
« on: July 16, 2017, 10:44:04 PM »
You can now find an illustrated list of Dutch bicycle tax tokens on World of Tokens here. For the moment, we only have pictures of the normal tokens of the last 13 years, but the hunt is on for tokens for the unemployed and diplomatic bikes as well as those of the first five years.

There are also French and Belgian bicycle tax tokens. Maybe one day ...

Thanks largely to Marc Geluk, we now have illustrations of the large majority of the normal and free of charge bicycle tax tokens and even a really hard to find diplomat's token. In addition to everything else, they are excellent stylistic illustrations of the art of the thirties.

What a spectacular collection. I have but one Dutch - 1937.1938  ;D

I imagine the diplomatic tokens must be exceedingly rare.
