Any ideas what this Rupee sized object is supposed to be?

14.4g - I presume it's silver.
Looks to be dated 1390....


always willing to trade modern UK coins for modern coins from elsewhere....

Just 13. The part that you are seeing as a 9 is a final 'ha' on the name of Allah.

This is a Shia token, it has the Shia 'fiver' complex (Panjatan in Indian languages)with Allah, Muhammad, Ali, Fatima, Hasan, Hussain. On reverse (bottom image) it has the Kalima.
on the top image above centre line it has the number 139 which is believed to be a pseudodate referring to Ya Hussein (Hail to Hussein).
