This one shows a lion passant guardant (the "English" lion) on a crown. The text reads BRITANNIARUM REX FIDEI DEFENSOR, which needs to be read as a continuation of the text on the obverse to make sense. The whole text means George IV by the grace of God, king of the Britains, defender of the faith. The strange formulation "Britanniarum", of the Britains, is not a typo for "Britons" (which would be Britonum in Latin). It is a way of covering not only Great Britain but all the colonies and dominions as well. It was later rendered as "Britanniarum omnium rex/regina" (king/queen of all the Britains) before being abandoned in 1954 in the context of the decline of the Empire.

Below he lioned crown is a bouquet of clover leaf, rose and thistle, symbols of the main constituent parts of Georgies kingdom: Ireland (all of it at this time), England and Scotland.

George started out as a hyper-romantic, oversensitive youth called prinny by the courtiers. He had the "Brighton pavilion" created for him, to the horror of his successors and the delight of tourists. Since he couldn't control his appetite, he ended up eating himself to death.
