I think it will be also interesting to mention the unknown (or suspected as) single coins

I will post here some possible single piece coins, please do the same.

The last is not a coin but a trial strike of Tannu Tuva 20 Kopeek stroke in aluminium, plain edge weight 1.41 g

This is a weight and not a coin. One of the many blunders of KM. The states had lost minting rights in 1893 AD and in fact, Bhaunagar had stopped minting (after an agreement with the British) in 1840 AD. The 'coin' is dated 2005 which would make it a post independence era 'coin'. Even the last 'Jai Hind' Kori of Kutch is dated 2004 (1948 AD).

If that's a trial strike either the press urgently needed maintenance or the coin was severely mis-handled after striking. In addition, the black goo suggests either a filthy press or circulation. Spectacular piece, though.

Hello Peter,

The black goo are in fact little holes on the flan (porous flan).
I think they may have use some bad quality aluminium flan in the mint in order to check the alignment before strike the normal coins (the alignment of this coin is medal strike but Numista indicate that it should be coin alignment).
 
So it maybe a test token rather than a trial strike but I don't really know the difference...

OK, I can see that many black spots are indeed holes. They remind me of Frederick Bailey, writing in Mission to Tashkent that around 1918, the Bolsheviks wanted statues for their heroes but found that metal was scarce. What they could come up with soon fell apart when exposed to the elements. Still, the deep scratches on the value side and the "file" scratches on the opposite side are hard to explain.
