Dear Experts,

Can someone confirm if this coin is genuine or not?

Im sorry but I dont have its dimensions or weight.

So, you're gonna go for it as well? :)

I hope to win it, too.

I've already sent a private message to our esteemed expert on African coins here on WoC, I'm concerned about D in Trade under the king's effigy but generally it seems good to me.

thanks Natko!

Would love to hear if you have concerns.

On first impressions it looks fine,
but see this thread

A PM to Harald might be an idea for anyone looking to buy it (I appreciate that if this coin is at auction it might result in further bidding though)

This post is worth a read too,

always willing to trade modern UK coins for modern coins from elsewhere....

Thank for the further info.

Did anybody got the pics of these expensive fakes at last? If these circulated a lot (which I doubt) it might easily be the case not many examples today are the originals, rather modern fakes. Especially high graded slabbed examples.

I already made my mind I won't bid anyway, but of course would like to know more.
