The site of our member africancoins is now hosted by WoC. This sub-board is for announcements, comments and questions; a extra channel of communication with the site owner. The site is not just a list of known facts. Its splendid research adds to our knowledge and fun. Its illustrations are sure to help collectors of the coins and tokens of the countries of Africa. My understanding is that africancoins will develop the site further. Let's encourage him to do that.

WoC hosts "All around Africa" because the site owner is known to us, the site serves a numismatic interest and serves it well, using an acceptable amount of web space, the site is strictly non-commercial and africancoins accepted our offer. WoC is open to receive other sites that meet these conditions.

I wonder can the link there at the bottom of the index page to Africa tokens http://africa.worldofcoins.eu/aftokens.htm be linked on the World of Tokens page in some way...

The good thing about the wiki is that any registered member can edit an article and, in this case, add the link. Once that you get to the article you want to edit, click on the "Edit" tab on the top, and then on the "External link" icon (there is a button with a world icon on it). It will give you an example of how you should refer to an external website.

I think Mal's question refers to "All about Africa", not WoT. No, the same link cannot refer to different web addresses. If Paul wants, he can add a link, though. Why not take it up with Paul directly through a PM?

I think it could be done in a slightly different way ???

As we don't yet have any African tokens on the WoT front page we could mention for Africa tokens See http://africa.worldofcoins.eu/aftokens.htm
Malcolm
Have a look at  my tokens and my banknotes.

Malcolm - fell free to put a link using..... Africa tokens See http://africa.worldofcoins.eu/aftokens.htm onto World of Token.

I should be able to add something on that page to mention World of Tokens (with link).... I am still getting used to the way I get to my files (ftp) and what preferences the site has for such things as file names etc... nothing too difficult...

Thanks Mr Paul Baker
