It took until today to receive one of the new $10 notes.

My scanner however refused to scan it citing The CBCDG = Central Bank Counterfeit Deterrence Group.

Their website opened with this information:

Banknotes & Counterfeit Deterrence

Every country has legal restrictions on the reproduction of banknote images. The counterfeiting of currency is a crime, and while restrictions vary from country to country, in some countries, any reproduction of banknote images even for artistic or advertising uses is strictly forbidden. Even in countries that allow some limited use of banknote images, there are specific rules and requirements. This website will provide you with information about reproducing banknote images and links to country-specific websites for further guidance.

I took another route to get these images. (the images are actual size on my PC)

I don't know Australian law, Malcolm, but it might be an idea to store the images in a significantly smaller size or to deface them with a "watermark", just in case. Imagine your computer/hard disk being stolen or hacked into.

Edited above.

I should have added the source of Central Bank Counterfeit Deterrence Group which appears to be worldwide.
