Roman Imperial: Maximianus, 1st Reign (286-305 CE) BI Antoninianus, Lugdunum (RIC V 422)

Obv: IMP MAXIMIANVS AVG; Radiate bust left, wearing consular robes and holding eagle-tipped scepter
Rev: SALVS AVGG; Salus standing right, feeding serpent held in arms; C in exergue

Now just browsing the Romans section. Missed this coin when it was posted. The obverse is really exquisite with three exclamation marks. The details on the robes are fantastic !
As comparison, my only Maximianus, a billon tetradrachm from Alexandria.
