An amazingly well preserved specimen, Mitresh.

I have ogled it for some time, as that portrait looks like high treason, even though Maria wasn't exactly a striking beauty and she did have a double chin. In the end, I had to conclude the portrait is anatomically correct, though maybe the eyes are a bit far from the nose. It looks quite crude and yet, I can't find serious fault with it...

Thanks Peter. I don't know why but most of the portrait series reflect the bust profiles crudely almost cartoonish......perhaps they did not have an experienced die cutter !!
