I can't figure out is this Valerianus II or his brother Saloninus.

billon antoninianus
weight 2.85 g
diameter 18 mm

obv - ???VALERIANVS N CAES
rev - PIETAS AVGG

Pellinore

I read Valerianus, not Saloninus. What does Wildwinds say about the type?

Well, the problem is that in obverse legend, I couldn't find incription variation of Valerian II coins that ends with -NCAES, only  -NOBCAES.
Saloninus coins ends with -NCAES. And second issue is that I think I can read SAL before -VALERIANVSNCAES, and that should mean his brother Saloninus. So I needed another opinion.  :(

Pellinore

But Wildwinds is not 'complete', it's a choice, only the best known types. Maybe you need to look in RIC or another of the standard works for Valerianus-Gallienus.

I understand that, so I looked once again in what is available of RIC collection to me. (RIC number)

RIC 5-A, Valerianus II obverses (just for PIETAS AVGG):

valerianvs caes (4)
p lic valerianvs caes (19)
c p l valerianvs caes (21)
p c l valerianvs nob caes (20/36)
p c l valerianvs n c (36)
p c l valerianvs nob c (36)
p lic cor valerianvs caes (48)

RIC 5-A Saloninus obverses (also just for PIETAS AVGG):

lic cor sal valerianvs n caes (26)
sal valerianvs nob caes (37)

So I think that it might be this one, RIC 26 Saloninus...first part of obv, LIC COR is missing, but it's maybe clipped or not centered properly.
