Danbury Mint Coins
« on: January 17, 2017, 04:14:27 PM »
Hi!

While on facebook today I seen an ad advertising coin sets from 'Danbury Mint' (Link bellow) & went to their site to see what they where selling... & to my utter surprise and shock they seem to be selling 20th century unofficial coins sets & coins septate for utterly ridiculous prices which includes a George V coins set with coins from £25 up to a staggering 'circulated' Rocking Horse Crown for £75!

Link: https://www.danburymint.co.uk/products/coins/british-coins

I'll let you go check out these prices for yourselves & would like to hear your thoughts?

Trinkets by the tasteless for the tasteless.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Staggering.  :o

Still, if you can't sell your scrap coins on numismatic value, you may as well come up with some other gimmick to shift them.

I just feel sorry for any deluded individual that buys from them. :(

Those prices are eyewatering  :o

They'd still be rather on the dear side if they were in SEK.
