It is that time of the year again. While people rush in the shopping centers we are having fun with Andyg's December competition, as usual. That's the comforting feeling I needed to start Christmas season  :)  Thanks so much!

I'll do my best to get a few right.  ;)

Another super puzzle, andyg. Meanwhile, what is the great significance of number five, beyond the number of fingers/toes on each hand/foot most of us have and beyond the incontestable fact that it is smack in the middle of four and six ???

Mine turned up at the weekend while I was away.   ;D

I do not consider a full set of uncirculated Beatrix Potter 50ps (of which I had none) to be a "modest" additional prize either - I am delighted.

Thank you to the donor(s), and thank you Andy for the competition. It was well worth the time I spent looking at the almost 8000 coins on Numista that had a denomination of 5 to get the last couple.   8)

Many thanks to Andyg for the wonderful prize as well as all those extra commemorative 50 pence coins. I did not have any of them, so they are all very welcome members to my core collection.

Again my heartfelt gratitude for organizing a very interesting competition over the holidays last month!
