Hi everyone!
I finally managed to find & buy a William III 1699 Halfpenny (date in Legend & inverted 'V' in Britannia error) for only £20 & the condition is quite good but would like 2nd thoughts on how rare these versions are & thoughts on condition please?
Thanks!

Can not give you an answer on rarity. The condition is quite good in my opinion.almost all of the figures an legend well readable. Congratulations with this one !

These coins remained in circulation for a long time. Most are very badly worn, so comparatively speaking, your halfpenny is not too bad. I'd give it VG, but that's personal. I never noticed people going for the subtle varieties, but maybe they do in the UK. It's not a rare coin, just hard to find a decent specimen.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
