Thought i understood the 'main' varieties of the 10 Kopiyok 1992. but..
This evening i went through a small batch of Ukrainian coins. and i'm now a bit confused regarding the one i have now in my hand.. (sorry for poor photo.. ::) )
Both coins are the "6 top dots in 120 degrees triangle & 5 low dots" , the top one on the photo i can't place it anymore..  ???  The date seems different, the 2 is the most obvious, and overal the most of the design seems thicker/bolder..  any thoughts ? Thanks..  :)

The lower coin is the original. I think the upper coin was struck with a worn die. The differences are obvious for the human eye, but that is a peerless precision instrument. I think the difference would not register on a ruler.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

May be the lower coin was one of the elusive first strikes and the upper coin is one of the many business strikes

Looking at the distance between the date and the shield, and the date and the edge, these seem measurably different to me.  ???

Can you please send hi-res images of the both sides of each coin?

I think we should include the 50 kopiyok coins as well?
