This is another Rupee of the Murshidabad mint RY 19. Please help attribute it. Is this a hammered coin or the latter issue?

My best guess is KM 99.

This coin is hammered, not struck. Very often, the easiest way to see the difference is that struck coins have a perfectly round flan, because they were struck in a collar, as well as a protective edge, so they are easier to pile up and the design is to a degree protected from wear when piled. If I can find a good example, I'll show it here.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Oesho

I understand Amit's question. Of this issue there is the normal handstruck coin (as this coin is) and an issue prepared on a screwpress (without collar), dated AH1205/Ry.19 (Pridmore #147)

Would this imply that this coin is similar to the other coin of Murshidabad KM#84.2? (I do not have Pridmore)
