WoT is a low threshold data base for anyone who likes tokens. Books on tokens are too often hard to get, privately issued, sold out. A web page offers access to everyone.

Using the Wiki language is a lot easier than Basic or (even worse) ForTran, anyone can set up sections for their favourite tokens, with a standard or your own layout, complete or with holes in your information, on your own or collaborative, in English or in any other language.

It's a no cost way to maintain a web presence.

Well done Mal! Maybe there is a possibility to add the variants too?

It's Wiki software, anyone can add information, eurocoin (that emphatically includes properly sourced missing illustrations.) Note that the two "store grocer" variants are already in the list.

More Telephone tokens have been added to the telecommunications tokens section, namely Australia Telephone and Ceylon Telephone

I have hopes of adding South Africa Telephone; am awaiting a large number of images for an extensive section on these. The Hern catalogue listing is rather poor in relation to these as a collector friend has forty different SA telephone tokens and many of these are only implied rather than catalogued by Hern.

Yet another one added. On Dutch phone booth tokens. Do you have one of the missing pictures?

Yes many missing images now added including this one which I moved here from Belgium telephone, PRISON / GEVANGENIS and I shall now have to move back.

Can you have a look at it and confirm its Belgian please?

I did put it on the Facebook prison token group and got this reply:
"there are/were 32 prisons in Belgium and till 1970 the entire government facilities were bilingual. Only province that was bilingual after that was Brabant and only till 1995 when it split in Vlaams Brabant (Dutch) and Brabant Wallon (French). So I'm confident your token is Belgian and pre-1970."

I think country and dating are entirely correct and dating is confirmed by the phone speaker shown.
