Have you wondered why Kremnitz should use a KB mint mark? It is because the Hungarian name of the place is Körmöcbánya. In Czech, the same town is called Kremnica. It is not unusual for cities to have different names in different languages, but German, Hungarian and Czech were all spoken in the Austrian empire. A modern example of a city having three names in its own country is Brussel, Bruxelles and Brüssel in Belgium.
