I found 114, but where's that 8? Or is it the nail mark much farther the right? In that case, Maythem has good evidence that a blunt end 7 was used on Iranian coins...

I am not certain for the last digit "8" ? but as I don't see another last one, it's well this mark on right that I take for a 8...

I think you are right with 1148 - it's either that or one of the dots makes it 1140.
Seems to have been struck twice which might explain the two dots ":"

Any ideas which way around the sword should be?
