Slovakia: Several Collector Coins in 2017

Slovakia plans to issue several silver and gold collector coins next year:

1. €10 (Silver): World Natural Heritage - Caves of Slovak Karst (February 2017);

2. €20 (Silver): Historical Preservation Area of Levoča and the 500th anniversary of the completion of the high altarpiece in St Jacob's Church (May 2017);

3. €10 (Silver): 150th anniversary of the birth of Božena Slančνkovα-Timrava (September 2017);

4. €10 (Silver): 1150th anniversary of the recognition of the Slavonic liturgical language (October 2017);

5. €100 (Gold): World Natural Heritage - Caves of Slovak Karst (November 2017).

All these coins are surcharged over face value. Silver coins will be available in BU and Proof, gold coin is proof only.

Expected issue prices are (According to the mint website): €17-€21 (Silver €10, BU), €22-€26 (Silver €10, Proof), €32-€36 (Silver €20, BU), €38-€42 (Silver €20, Proof) and €390-€410 (Gold €100 Proof).
