The minted coins. 20 cent coin is a bit disappointing and the quality of the 2 euro coin appears to be bad.

Seems like circulation coins have also been issued. eBay is currently flooded with these (especially €1 and €2)!

Aditya
Caution. The low-hanging fruits are still there maybe for a reason.

Here's a roll of €2 coins, image taken from eBay (Seller ID: kaleta_eurowelt).

Hi all I have now got a copy of the new San Marino coins and have uploaded photos to my website: http://www.eurocollection.co.uk/2017.html

Each coin is designed by a different person and I can't work out all the inscriptions on the coins - can anyone help?
1c: who is AN, and who is U?
2c-€2: who is AL?  Presumably from the German news story it is Arno Ludwig.
€2: I can't even read the initials, who is that?

Thanks, but the €1 coin clearly says 'LDS' i.e. Luciana de Simoni, and the €2 doesn't look like UP either.  You have filled in the blanks for the 1c though!

It seems that only 20c, €1 and €2 dated 2017 will be issued for circulation. Rest of the denominations will be part of BU/Proof set only.

Any ideas who engraved the €2 coin?  I still can't find a definitive answer.

So far I have nowhere come across the name of the engraver of that coin. Have you tried to send them an email (info.ufn@pa.sm)?

Received the new €1 and €2 couple of days back. Nice coins. €1 looks better struck than €2, however not really much to complain about the quality. Quite OK IMO. Paid €1 for the €1 and €2.5 for €2. ;)

I didn't specifically look for 20c coin, it's not hard to find either.

I have been told by someone at UFN that the €2 is engraved by Uliana Pernazza as with the 50c, although I must say the initials look rather different!

I've had a more official reply now, and the engraver is Silvia Petrassi, not Uliana Pernazza.
