Dear Vivek

Kol mint has reduced the rates from 3700 to 3000. May be the mint guys read the writing on wall. There are so many coins that collectors are losing their interest. If the same trend of re-strikes and mindless issue of new coins continues, the number of collectors will further dwindle. 

In-spite of healthy reduction, the rates are still very high. Price of a proof set having 17.5 g silver in useless gatta (cardboard) packing should not be more than Rs 2000.

Did you guys notice the Typo in the Advert. For Lala coins it says Rs 150 and Rs 5 instead of Rs 150 and Rs 10

Even I don't mind getting a Rs 5 coin. 
I am OK for mint to keep the Rs 1 additional paid 
From the price it looks like the difference in Manufacturing [Proof or UNC] of Rs 10 coin and Rs 5 coin is Rs 1 !!! But for Hyderabad Mint the difference is Rs 50 [in the Single coin sets]

Yep this time the Advert is quite early. Generally bookings open on Monday and the Advert is issued on Sunday. Maybe the Advert rates on Sunday have gone up substantially and Mint is looking at saving costs  ...
