Alwaites. Sulayman. Falus 1228.
« on: February 18, 2016, 08:24:11 AM »
Hello, dear    members.
 My coin is  about 2,7g.
obverse: -  "Solomon` Seal" with year within it
reverse: Mint name

Following KM# it must be   Mint Tetouan falus.
But I havenot found any  variety  among 10 described, with the year inside "seal" .

Would be  happy  to see Your comments  about this piece.
Thanks in advance,
David

Hi Dave,

have you identified it by now?

If you're interested in coin variants please find some English documentation here:

and in French on Michel's site (the presentations are not the same):

I don't know what KM is writing, but this is 1 Fals, Tetouan. This coin has always the date inside the seal of Solomon. Catalogued by
Daniel Eustache in "Corpus des Monnaies 'Alawites", # 560ff
