Glad to see there's some real research coming out of the hoopla, but afraid that, with the commercial state of mind of the Australian mint, some two thirds of the book will cover the chaff pretending to be money currently produced. I hope someone will discuss the contents of the book on this site. Until that time, I will make do with such books as An account of the coins, Coinages, and Currency of Australasia by Coleman Hyman (1893! Reprinted 1973)

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
