On ebay at the moment is a 2009 10p with the old lion design.
Seller is a well known Swiss based dealer, so I would assume without a doubt that it's genuine.

Has anyone else heard of these?
Seller says two pieces known.

IMO this coin is about £2000 overpriced.
always willing to trade modern UK coins for modern coins from elsewhere....

Possible, but without a letter from The Royal Mint confirming the authenticity, I certainly wouldn't buy it.
With only 2 pieces known it's hard to determine a price, so I don't know if this is overpriced.

If it's possible to fake £2 coins (as well as £1) it can't be too difficult to fake a 10p surely?
