Genuine or Fake?
« on: February 05, 2016, 02:29:32 AM »
Hey folks!

I came across these Sikh Coins guaranteed as authentic by the seller on eBay. I looked into his feedback and there's no negative/neutral reviews. He's also been a member since 2005.

I read about the fake Ranjit Singh coins being circulated by a racket. So can someone please look into his store and shed some light on this matter? Thank You in advance!

Link to his store: http://www.ebay.com/usr/shredplayer?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

Undoubtedly genuine but appears to be chemically cleaned which many sellers seem to think enhances it's value whereas it destroys centuries of natural patina

Thank You Vic! You're right, there's a common misconception about cleaning among sellers in eBay. However I am glad I found another trustable seller who sells genuine coins online:)
