Has any one got 2016 coins? If you remember last year 2015 coins were in circulation in January.

1/- is also out and is in transit.

Got ₹10 dated 2016 in change yesterday. The coin is so badly struck that mint mark and last digit of the date are invisible!

In general the Rs 10 coin of recent times continues to be of poor quality. This could be due to the desire to strike more coins ... increase in speed means less of pressure required to achieve a good strike. Bi-Metalic blanks would respond poor to weak pressure strikes ...
