Now also have partial sets of answers from THcoins, bart and prosit.
3 and 7 are the tricky ones.

Bart and prosit have been upgraded to complete.

I would also like to point out that there is no truth to the rumour that the 2 with the skull is to commemorate the Queen Mother's 116th birthday.

As usual I found identifying the coins a real challenge but I found one coin easy to id and that one was # 2. It helped a lot that I acquired quite a few coins from that country this year (but not that one) and had examined the catalog extensively.

The one that nearly made me give up and not finish was coin #7. Now for me that one was a real toughie.

I had a dozen other things that I should have been doing but I really enjoyed that time with coins and that is enough reward by itself.

Thanks Andyg!
Dale

I am a bit out of coins nowadays but thanks to Andrew's December competition I can test what's left of my skills.

I could identify immediately nrs. 1, 4 and 10. Also for me nr. 7 was the real difficult one.

Year after year I enjoy the challenge of this competition.

Thank you Andrew!

Every year this is quite an interesting activity for all those who enjoy this hobby.

Thanks so much for the effort that you take on this, andyg.

Like last year I've asked Malj1 to allocate each person a number (1 to 10) - Figleaf has then decided which order to place the 1 to 10.  I'll have the results shortly :)

Mal's numbers are as follows -
Niels        9
afrasi        10
fosseway    2
miner        6
bart               4
prosit        7
izotz            3
Spabreda    5
THCoins        8
mmiguel        1

Figleaf selected the order as follows,
7, 2, 3, 5, 1, 9, 4, 10, 8, 6

so, 1st is 7 - Prosit, 2nd is 2 - fosseway and 3rd is 3 - izotz.  Figleaf's mystery prize goes to 5 - Spabreda.  However, everyone who entered will receive one of the coins below - I will be in touch shortly.

Thanks to all who entered - without you this would be a rather boring place :)
Happy new year!
