Hi All,

I booked Mother teresa(100/5) and 150 Tagore(150/5) some where in Feb and March 2015, I booked Proof sets, but the sets which I received mentioned UNC 2 coins on top cover and inside as well, is this how it should be from H mint ?..

I never purchased a UNC coin, so not actually able to compare my Proof sets with a UNC set.

For me it looks like a proof set.

Can some one provide some insights on this

There is only one type of strike available from Hyderabad Mint so far. It is UNC.
So you booked UNC and got UNC.

In the Indian coinage context, the Proof's have Mirror finish in the feild and matt finish on the subject. However in UNC its Mirror finish through out.

This is the Proof Strike of a Coin. Look at the subject, you can see the matt finish. Generally this is done by covering the field and then sand blasting. This gives the said Finish.

This is UNC below, the Mirror Finish is obtained by rubbing a diamond paste on the die.
