Saro, you are right, I completely mixed " La Mure " and " Lamure"
But, regarding the other informations, I think I gave the good ones : The name is " Dubosclard "; as can be seen on the original picture, the last letter is a "d" ( not clearly visible in the post ) .
On top of this, I found in the French National Library archives (
http://gallica.bnf.fr/accueil/?mode=desktop ) the following informations extracted from an official department document : Mr Dubosclard was an " agent voyer " ( see the 1st post ) authorised to apply for retirement in 1904; this date is consistent with the date on the token.
Regarding the token itself, several french sites about bicycle tax tokens present it as a bicycle token which was attached to the frame of the bicycle.
