Dear WOC team,

I picked up a bunch of coins from the trip to Beirut. Most were Romans and I have been able to find a nice attribution source for them. However a few of them neither fit the sizes nor the typical roman markings.

Can you please help identify each of the coins, one of each posted in one thread.

Weight:5.84 grams
Diameter: 29.49 mm
Material - Silver?

Please accept my thanks in advance,

Abhijat

Lower picture is upside down. This shows the bust of king Sigismund of Poland and Latvia. That't at least what the edge text says. Am no expert in these, can't comment whether it is genuine or not.

The obverse edge text says precisely: Sigismund III by the grace of god King of Poland, Great Duke of Lithuania, Rus, (East) Prussia, Mazovia
It's a genuine ort (18 groshes) from 1621 :)

Adam
