It is so curious the launch of this coins cause in the beginning, the South Sudanese pound was at pair with Sudanese pound at around 6 Pounds per Euro. Right now, the South Sudanese Pound has lost most of their value (from 6 to 45 Pounds per Euro):
2 pounds coin >4 Euro cents
1 pound coin > 2 cents
50 cents > 1 cent
20 cents > 0,5 cents (needing two coins to have 1 cent)
10 piastres > 0,2 cents (needing five coins!! to have a single cent

)
This reminds me when Nigeria issued their second coin series of 2 and 1 Naira and 50 Kobo, with values of 2 and 1 cent and 0,5 cents...something that I never understood.
