And with today's rate ROL 500 = EUR 0.01190. That's very cheap for a gold coin  ::)

Nah, thanks. They do have a couple of issues that are interesting from my POV (such as the Treaty of Rome piece or the Ovidius coins). But those low mintages, in the four digit range even for base metal issues, I find deterring. By the way, 500 lei (RON; note the N) is almost 120 euro. :)
