Herault. 25 centimes 1920.

Another Chamber of Commerce token. There are several varieties, with or without pearl circle or dash in the date range and with date range 1917.1920, 1921-1924 and 1922-1926. Your token is Elie 15.6b, without engraver's signature below the date. The Chamber of Commerce of Herault also issued 5 and 10 centimes tokens. Engraver: Thevenon, with Cartaux one of the most prolific producers of the tokens of this period.

Marseille 5 centimes 1916, aluminium.

This is also a Chamber of Commerce issue. A large number of varieties are known, characterised by the presence or absence of a triangle or A on the obverse and/or reverse and the place and form of Guerin's signature. Your specimen is Elie 10.1A. There is also a 5 centimes in the series.

Evreux. 10 centimes 1921, aluminium.

Another issue of a Chamber of Commerce. This one of the most complete series, with values of 5, 10, 20 centimes and 1 and 2 francs. The latter two were forbidden soon after they were issued and were withdrawn. They are not scarce and practically always in high grade. Elie 10.2.

Departament of Mazamet. 5 centimes 1922, aluminium.

Mazamet is not a département, but a town, today part of Castres. Alquiers frères was a wholesaler in vegetables and fruit. There is a copper variant of this token. Other values are 10 and 25 centimes. Your token is Elie 10.1.
