For the last 2 Months, I was busy shifting to my new House. Finally, I have moved to the new house and started to settle here.

In the Drawing Room, the Center Table is a specially designed Table, which can show my coin collection. The main tray is divided into 4 partitions, each of which can display 2 X 20 Coin sheet side by side.

In the first portion, I have displayed 40 different coins of 5 Rupee, in the second - history of Rupee from 1540 to 2013 through 40 coins, in the Third - 4 UNC/Proof Coin sets of India and in the Fourth, all the loose world coins, which I had collected when I started collecting coins.

Very interesting Abhay. When do I send the movers and shifters?  >:D

Great display ! And the table seems heavy enough so unwelcome visitors won't carry it away easily.

Dear Abhay,
Very thoughtful and an incredible way to have the guests know about your passion !
I wonder how you have managed the locking mechanism? Especially if you have small school going kids they may want to right away show off their dad's possessions to their visiting friends.
I think you must get this patented and earn royalties for the next two decades, this reminds me of the BMW "shark fin"

Very interesting and logical! My wife would have straight away disapproved of it!  ;D >:D

Incredible idea to have such a set up! Do you have a separate room for your collection, where this table has been kept?

I don't have wife (yet ;D) but my Mom wouldn't allow me to have such thing although space is not a problem for us...

Thanks for all the comments.

The Table is kept in the Drawing room, although I do have a separate room to keep my coins. And the Coin Drawer is removable just like any other Drawer Chest.

For the School going kids, I have locked it by screws, which are known to me only, so that I can open it when I want.

And the Door of my Coin Collection Room has a plaque of 2 Mohur Coin nailed to it.

I'd say, this impressive table  is an amalgamation of bright idea with an advancement of technology .

Our museums should learn from your sincere efforts " how to preserve the coins  in effective manner"

Cheers ;D

A very innovative way to get people interested in coins. May I suggest what I would see as the perfect book to go with this table?

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
