It is difficult to say whether this is a forgery or a genuine coin. Quite identical coins are illustrated by Göbl (1967) Dokumenten zur Geschichte der Iranischen Hunnen in Baktrien und Indien, Emission #150.
I have uploaded three other specimen of this type. viz.:
http://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=152630
http://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=152631
http://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=152632
Particular ZENO#152630 is pretty identical to 129636. Judging from the other pieces, my conclusion would be that the coin concerned is not a fake.

The coin 129636 on zeno is identical to the one appearing at the beginning of this thread and the one I posted. At the same time it is different from the 3 coins you refer to. That is why I conclude that it is a fake. Several more identical coins were sold by the same seller through eBay.

Indeed when at-least three die-identical coins of the same shape are observed, I agree that they must be fakes.

Can we somehow rename this thread? Some of the Indian members (not me!) may get offended by description 'Fake Narendra' in the title... ;D ;D >:D ;)

Judging by the quantity sold, the seller at least is definitely enjoying "acche din". ;D
