Germany 2016: €2 Saxony
« on: February 25, 2015, 01:29:49 PM »
In the "German States" series of commemorative €2 coins, the 2016 piece will be dedicated to Saxony. The coin, designed by Jordi Truxa, shows the Zwinger palace in Dresden.

Those who come to the Paris WoC meeting may also find this coin in circulation. Note the designer's initials JT.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

JT = Jordi Truxa. He changed his last name because he did no longer want to be known as the Jordi Regel who designed the horrible "Television" (€10 2002) coin. ;D  Actually he married and picked his wife's name ...
